The Day Centre provides support and care to people who have a diagnosis of dementia across the city of Sheffield.
The Centre is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on most weeks of the year, with a short break at Easter, Summer and Christmas.
It is a small Centre, which makes it possible for the care to be truly person-centred and individual. the small size of the group makes it easier for people to get to know each other, and feel comfortable and familiar with each other and their surroundings. There are up to ten places per day. People may attend for one, two or in some cases three days per week, depending on their needs.
The cost of a place is £20.00 per person per day. The cost of a place includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day and all activities
Some people have their own transport arrangements. People who are brought by the transport arranged by the Centre pay £10.00 for this, (£30.00 altogether).
